Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy describes how CTech Ventures (“CTech”, “we”, “us”) handles information in connection with the public website at https://www.ctechventure.com and related services we operate for that website and for authenticated Founder HQ users.

Contact: info@ctechventure.com

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may process:

  • Contact details you submit (for example name, email, company and message)
  • Technical information such as IP address, browser type, device and request metadata
  • Authentication identifiers for private HQ access
  • Content and metadata from services you explicitly connect (for example Google Drive files or folders you authorize)

3. How information is collected

  • Directly from you via forms or account connection flows
  • Automatically through standard web server and hosting logs
  • From connected providers when you grant permission

4. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Respond to partnership, founder and investor enquiries
  • Operate, secure and improve the website and private HQ
  • Provide Knowledge OS and related workflows for authorized users
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect our systems

We do not sell personal information.

5. Contact forms

Messages submitted through the public contact form are processed so we can reply. Delivery may use email infrastructure (Resend) and temporary storage needed to complete the request. A honeypot field may be used to reduce spam; it is not used for marketing.

6. Website analytics and technical information

The public marketing site is hosted on Vercel. Hosting and CDN providers may process technical request data (such as IP address and user agent) as part of delivering and securing the site. At the time of this policy, the public site does not load third-party marketing analytics scripts such as PostHog or Google Analytics in the browser.

7. Authentication / private CTech HQ

Founder HQ and related private routes are authenticated and are not intended for public indexing. Access credentials and session controls are used to protect private operational tools. HQ content is not published via the public sitemap.

8. Connected services

Depending on which features you use, processing may involve providers that power CTech systems, including:

  • Vercel — public website hosting
  • Railway — application backend hosting
  • Supabase — database and related backend storage
  • Google OAuth / Google Drive — when a Google account is connected
  • GitHub — repository intelligence for authorized integrations
  • Langfuse — LLM observability for internal agent workflows
  • Firecrawl — website crawling where configured for knowledge ingestion
  • Resend — transactional email for contact submissions
  • Sentry — error monitoring where configured

PostHog may be configured for internal product analytics in private tooling; it is not used as a public-site tracking script under this policy’s current public deployment.

9. Cookies

The public site relies on cookies or similar technologies that are necessary to deliver the service securely (for example hosting, security and session continuity for authenticated HQ areas). We do not currently require a marketing-cookie consent banner on the public site because non-essential advertising or analytics cookies are not active there. If that changes, we will update this policy and, where required, request consent before loading non-essential technologies.

10. Google Drive access

When Google Drive is connected, access is authorized by the Google account holder. CTech accesses Drive content according to the permissions explicitly granted. Default access is least privilege using Google’s drive.file scope so that only files or items selected (for example via Google Picker) are available. An optional advanced full-folder sync mode may request broader read access (drive.readonly) only when explicitly enabled by the user. CTech does not claim Google verification or compliance certifications beyond the permissions and products actually configured.

11. Data retention

We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, including operational, security and legal requirements. Contact messages and connected-content indexes may be retained while an engagement or workspace remains active, then deleted or archived according to internal retention controls.

12. Data sharing / service providers

We share information with service providers that process it on our behalf to host and operate CTech systems. We do not share personal information for third-party advertising. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety and security.

13. International processing

CTech operates with a global footprint. Information may be processed in locations where our hosting and service providers operate. Where transfers occur, we rely on appropriate contractual and provider safeguards available for those services.

14. Security

We apply administrative and technical measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data, including access controls for private systems and encryption of certain secrets at rest. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

15. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict certain personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email info@ctechventure.com. You may also disconnect Google Drive or revoke OAuth access through Google account settings.

16. Children

The website and HQ tools are directed to business and professional audiences and are not intended for children.

17. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes notice of the revised policy for website visitors.
